Plogging by the Yangjaecheon River

Envi-sion members participated in the new global movement plogging, a sustainable initiative combining sports like jogging and caring for the environment. With increasing concerns about trash and plastic pollution worldwide, plogging has unified over 20,000 environmentalists in 100+ countries everyday. We noticed that plastic was the most common type of litter near the roads by Yangjaecheon, and it would eventually end up polluting the river and its ecosystem as well. After collecting visible pieces of litter into our trash bags, we visited a nearby waste & recycling center to sort them out.
